SB6141 Rebooting constantly

I've had this modem for almost a year with no issues until recently when it started dropping internet connection and re-booting intermittently. Comcast said they could not help since it is customer owned modem and everything looked fine at their end. Checking my signal levels shows all downstream channels at 0 or -1 dB with 37 SNR. The upstream is 57 which based on FAQ is too high apparently. My question is what line condition could affect only the upstream level? I checked the only splitter feeding the modem and all connections appear normal and no changes have been made anywhere in past year. Is there anything else to try short of replacing the modem? One other thing - the firmware version is the .14 one which is supposed to be latest.
