SBG6580 w/ own router -as 2 subnets vs bridge mode

I have have ethernet wired through my home. I also have a desktop(ethernet) with a printer(ethernet) and NAS(usb) that I share via the network connection through my personal router. My cable modem and whole home ethernet hub is not in the same room as my desktop/printer/NAS. I wanted to have my home ethernet hub supplied through the SBG6580 and then have my personal router run my desktop/printer/NAS and my home's wifi. Should I connect my sbg6580 to my personal router via the lan port on the 6580 to the wan port on my personal router, and run it as 2 different subnets? Or should I set my 6580 to bridge mode and have 1 subnet, if so will the 4 ethernet ports on the 6580 work if in bridge mode or will only 1 work. Thank you in advance
