I have been chasing this issue for the past 6 months and I have been able to find an answer. Occasionally my 6121 will drop connection to my ISP/Mediacom. It is very quick and per the customer service unreadable on their end. I have had multiple techs out and everything checks out. My speeds up and down are right where they need to be and my line noise is well within parameters. I have changed outlets, power strips, and cables, and I can go a week at times and then I can not go a day with out the modem rebooting itself. Logs show T3 and T4 errors as well as the occasional DKt (?) no longer on my log so I am probably misspelling that. Any advice? I am leaning toward either a finicky modem or a modem dying. If the modem is dying would replacing it with an identical model be the best or would I gain any benefit with the 6141sb. My internet is 15 down and 2 up, I don't plan on increasing speed.
