New member here, and I need someone's kind help. I have been running the Arris S33 for about a week and so far the internet connection has been good. I am able to access the S33's diagnostic pages at 192.168.100.1 when the S33 is directly connected by ethernet cable to my Windows 10 desktop. My issue is that once I connect my wireless router (TPLink AC1200) between the desktop and the S33 (all wired connections) I am not able to access the S33's diagnostic pages (I did power cycle each device). My previous Arris TM1602 did allow me to access the diagnostics with router in place.
Chrome returns this message: "This site can't be reached 192.168.100.1 took too long to respond. Try: Checking the connection; Checking the proxy and firewall; Running Windows Network Diagnostics ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT."
When I ran Windows Network Diagnostics, it says "website (192.168.100.1) is online but isn't responding to connection attempts" and it also says "The remote computer isn't responding to connections on Port 80, possibly due to firewall or security policy settings, or because it might be temporarily unavailable. Windows couldn't find any problems with the firewall on your computer."
I turned off Norton 360 firewall and tried to access the diagnostics page but no luck. Connections are solid as I can get internet and I am able to ping the S33 when the router is in place. Is there some firewall or router or IP / subnet setting I need to change? Thanks in advance!
